To help you stay in control of your play, we offer two types of limits based on your net deposits:
Net Deposit Limits: Optional limits set by you
Enforced Net Deposit Limits: Mandatory limits set by us based on information associated with your account
Net Deposit Limits
What is a Net Deposit Limit?
A Net Deposit Limit controls how much you can deposit after withdrawals have been deducted during your selected timeframe.
You can set a daily, weekly or monthly limit.
Your net deposits are calculated as follows:
Total deposits − total withdrawals = net deposits
How does it work?
For example:
You have a $100 CAD Net Deposit Limit.
You deposit $100 CAD and reach your limit.
You withdraw $40 CAD, reducing your net deposits to $60 CAD.
You can deposit another $40 CAD before reaching your limit again.
You won’t be able to make another deposit once you reach the limit, unless your net deposits are reduced by a withdrawal or the selected timeframe resets.
When do Net Deposit Limits reset?
Your limit resets according to the timeframe you selected:
Daily limits: Every day
Weekly limits: Every Monday
Monthly limits: On the first day of each calendar month
Enforced Net Deposit Limits
What is an Enforced Net Deposit Limit?
An Enforced Net Deposit Limit is a mandatory limit applied by us based on information associated with your account.
This limit is shared across all BVGroup brands connected to the same account details. Deposits made through any connected brand count towards the same allowance.
What happens when I reach the limit?
Once you reach your Enforced Net Deposit Limit, you won’t be able to make any further deposits until the limit resets.
Limit type | When it resets |
Monthly Enforced Net Deposit Limit | At the beginning of the next calendar month |
Annual Enforced Net Deposit Limit | At the beginning of the next calendar year |
Where can I check my progress?
You can check your current net deposits and remaining allowance under My Account → My Activity.
Can I increase my Enforced Net Deposit Limit?
If your annual Enforced Net Deposit Limit is eligible for review, you may be able to request an increase.
You may be asked to provide documents confirming your income, such as:
Your most recent pay stub
Your most recent payslip
Your most recent tax return
Evidence of pension income
Evidence of investment or dividend income
Evidence of rental income
Once your documents have been reviewed, we’ll let you know whether an increase is possible.
Monthly Enforced Net Deposit Limits cannot be increased.
