Live betting, sometimes called in-running betting, allows you to place bets while a sporting event is taking place.
The odds and available markets may change or be suspended throughout the event to reflect what is happening in real time.
Important information about live betting
Live broadcasts and event information may be delayed
Television broadcasts, live streams and event information may be subject to delays. The length of a delay can vary depending on the broadcaster, streaming provider, event and customer.
Information displayed by AlphiBet, including live video, scores, clocks and other event data, is provided as a guide only. It must not be relied upon when placing a bet and will not be used as the basis for bet settlement.
Although we take reasonable steps to display accurate information, AlphiBet is not responsible for errors or delays in this information.
Bet requests may be refused
AlphiBet may refuse all or part of a bet request.
Once a bet has been accepted and confirmed, it cannot normally be changed or cancelled. Exceptions may apply where permitted under the applicable betting rules.
Markets may become unavailable during an event
If live betting cannot continue because pictures, event data or another service becomes unavailable, bets already accepted will remain valid.
These bets will be settled once the event has been completed and the official result is known, subject to the applicable settlement rules.
Abandoned or incomplete events
If an event is abandoned, is not completed as scheduled or a participant withdraws:
Markets whose results have already been determined will stand.
Markets whose results have not been determined will be void.
For example, if a tennis player retires during the second set, a bet on the completed first set will stand, but an unsettled match-result bet will be void.
Sport-specific settlement rules may also apply.
Changes to participants or fixtures
Odds are offered for the participants named in the scheduled event.
If an opponent or participant changes, or the fixture is displayed incorrectly, affected bets will be void unless the applicable sport-specific rules state otherwise.
Official results
Bets will be settled using the official result declared by the relevant governing body at the time of settlement.
Later changes, disqualifications or appeals will not normally affect the settlement of a bet.
Bets accepted after the outcome is known
If a technical failure or a delay in updating, suspending or closing a market results in a bet being accepted after its outcome is known, the bet will be void and the stake returned.
Obvious pricing errors
If an obvious pricing error occurs before an event starts, AlphiBet may offer the correct odds or void the affected bet in accordance with the applicable betting rules.
For live bets, AlphiBet may void affected bets and return the stakes where necessary.
Odd/Even markets
For settlement of Odd/Even markets, a score of zero is considered even.
Two-way markets ending in a tie
If a two-way market ends in a draw or tie and no draw or tie selection was offered, the bet will be settled as a push and the stake returned.
Market suspensions
AlphiBet may suspend or close a live betting market at any time.
