How to watch live horse racing
Watch selected live races on Alphibet.
Live streaming is available for selected races staged in the UK, Ireland, France, USA, South Africa and the UAE. Availability also depends on your current location and the broadcaster covering the race.
Qualify to watch a race
Follow the requirements for the country in which the race is taking place.
UK and Irish races
Keep a positive account balance or place a bet within the 24 hours before the race.
Races in other countries
Place a bet with a minimum stake of £1 or €1 on a selection in the race you want to watch.
For a multiple bet:
Divide the total stake by the number of races included in the bet.
Check that the stake per race is at least £1 or €1.
Start the live stream
Once you qualify to watch the race:
Open the relevant racecard.
Find the streaming button at the top of the racecard.
Wait for the Watch Race message to appear.
Select the button to start watching.
Check broadcaster availability
Watch Racing TV coverage from any available country except Australia, France, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore and the USA.
Watch Sky Sports Racing coverage from the UK and Ireland only.
Terms and conditions
Expect a possible delay between the live event and the broadcast. This delay is beyond Alphibet’s control.
Check the advertised race time before attempting to watch. If a race is delayed, part or all of the stream may be unavailable.
Place qualifying bets on Outright markets only.
Do not use Bet Boosts, Bet Builder, Same Game Parlay or another special promotion to qualify for live streaming.
Note that third-party providers supply the live-streaming service. Alphibet will make reasonable efforts to provide coverage but cannot guarantee that a stream will be available.
Unable to watch a live stream?
Check the following before contacting us:
Confirm that you meet the balance or betting requirements for the race.
Confirm that the stake is sufficient. For a multiple bet, divide the total stake by the number of races and check that the result is at least £1 or €1.
Try to open the stream close to the advertised start time.
Wait for the Watch Race message to appear in the streaming button.
Check whether the broadcaster makes the race available in your current location.
If the problem continues, contact us through live chat or email on the Message Us page.
Provide:
Your username or account number.
Your web browser.
Your operating system.
The date on which the problem occurred.
The affected race.
Your stake.
Alphibet will forward the information to its technical team for investigation and respond by email.
