How we process your bet

Learn what determines whether your bet is accepted, reviewed, or rejected.

When you place a bet, it goes through a validation process before it can be accepted.

How do I know whether my bet will be accepted?

Whether your bet can be accepted depends on factors including:

  • The available funds in your account

  • Whether the selected odds are still available

  • Applicable stake limits

  • Current market conditions

If your account does not have enough available funds to cover your stake, your bet will not be accepted.

Any withdrawal of deposited funds remains subject to the applicable withdrawal requirements and account terms.

Manually reviewed bets

In some cases, your bet may need to be reviewed manually by our Trading team. This may cause a short delay before the bet is accepted or rejected.

If the odds change while your bet is being reviewed, the odds available when you submitted the bet will be honoured if the bet is accepted. This applies regardless of whether you have Accept Price Changes enabled.

For more information, see Price and line changes.

If you do not want bets requiring manual approval to be reviewed by our Trading team, contact Customer Service.

Once this preference has been applied, a bet that would normally require manual review will instead be:

  • Rejected; or

  • Re-offered with a lower maximum stake.

A bet is not placed until it has been accepted and you receive confirmation.
