Push notifications
Android
To disable AlphiBet notifications:
Open your device’s Settings.
Select Notifications → App notifications.
Find and select AlphiBet.
Turn off all notifications or choose which notification categories you want to disable.
You can also press and hold an AlphiBet notification when it appears and select Settings to manage it.
iPhone and iPad
To disable AlphiBet notifications:
Open Settings.
Select Notifications.
Select AlphiBet.
Turn off Allow Notifications.
Location permissions
Why might AlphiBet request my location?
AlphiBet may request access to your location to confirm whether its services are available in your location and to meet applicable licensing or regulatory requirements.
The permissions required may depend on your device, browser and location.
AlphiBet app on Android
Make sure that Location Services are enabled on your device.
Open Settings → Apps → AlphiBet → Permissions.
Select Location.
Choose the available option that allows location access while using the app.
Return to AlphiBet and try again.
Menu names may vary depending on your device manufacturer and Android version.
AlphiBet website in Chrome on Android
To update location access for the AlphiBet website:
Open AlphiBet in Chrome.
Select the site-information icon next to the address bar.
Select Permissions → Location.
Allow location access.
Refresh the page.
If AlphiBet was previously blocked:
Open the site-information menu.
Select Permissions.
Select Reset permissions.
Refresh the page and allow location access when prompted.
AlphiBet app on iPhone or iPad
Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
Make sure Location Services is enabled.
Select AlphiBet.
Choose While Using the App, if available.
Return to AlphiBet and try again.
AlphiBet website in Safari
Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
Make sure Location Services is enabled.
Select Safari Websites.
Choose the available option that allows location access while using Safari.
Return to Safari and refresh the AlphiBet website.
Reset location permissions on iPhone or iPad
If location access still does not work, you can reset your device’s location and privacy permissions:
Open Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone/iPad.
Select Reset.
Select Reset Location & Privacy.
Important: This resets location and privacy permissions for all applications. Each app will ask for permission again when required.
