Bet types explained

Single

Place a Single by choosing one selection. The selection must win to generate a return.

Calculate a Single

Use the following example for a €10 or C$10 stake at odds of 7/2:

  1. Multiply the €10 or C$10 stake by 7 to get €70 or C$70.

  2. Divide €70 or C$70 by 2 to get €35 or C$35 in winnings.

  3. Add the original stake to get a total return of €45 or C$45.

Double

Place a Double by choosing two selections from separate events. Both selections must win to generate a return. After the first selection wins, its return becomes the stake for the second selection.

Calculate a Double

Use the following example for a €10 or C$10 stake:

  1. Settle selection 1 at 3/1: €10 × 3, plus the €10 stake, produces a €40 return. Using Canadian dollars, C$10 produces a C$40 return.

  2. Use the €40 or C$40 return as the stake on selection 2 at 2/1. This produces a total return of €120 or C$120.

Treble

Place a Treble by choosing three selections. All three selections must win to generate a return. Roll the return from each winning selection on to the next selection.

Calculate a Treble

Use the following example for a €10 or C$10 stake:

  1. Settle selection 1 at 3/1 to produce a €40 or C$40 return.

  2. Use €40 or C$40 on selection 2 at 2/1 to produce a €120 or C$120 return.

  3. Use €120 or C$120 on selection 3 at 3/1 to produce a total return of €480 or C$480.

Accumulator (Acca) or Parlay

Place an Accumulator, also called an Acca or Parlay, by combining four or more selections from different events. Every selection must win to generate a return.

An Accumulator or Parlay may be named after its number of selections, such as a Four-Fold, Five-Fold or Six-Fold.

Calculate an Accumulator or Parlay

Use the following Four-Fold example for a €10 or C$10 stake:

  1. Settle selection 1 at 3/1 to produce a €40 or C$40 return.

  2. Use €40 or C$40 on selection 2 at 2/1 to produce a €120 or C$120 return.

  3. Use €120 or C$120 on selection 3 at 3/1 to produce a €480 or C$480 return.
