Payment cards: add, update or remove

All your card questions answered: add, remove, update, and stay secure.

You can add, view and remove payment methods from your AlphiBet account.

For security and compliance reasons, you must only use payment methods registered in your own name.

How do I add a new debit card?

A debit card is registered after you use it to make a successful deposit.

If your card has expired, been renewed or been replaced, you must register the replacement as a new card, even if the card number has remained the same.

To add a debit card:

  1. Select Deposit from the top menu.

  2. Select Visa/Mastercard.

  3. Enter your card details and the amount you want to deposit.

  4. Confirm that you are the owner of the payment method.

  5. Select Deposit.

You must make a successful deposit with the card before you can withdraw funds to it.

For more information, visit the Debit card article.

How do I view or remove a payment method?

These steps apply to the AlphiBet website and the iOS and Android apps.

  1. Select My Account from the top menu.

  2. Select Manage Payments.

  3. Find the payment method you want to remove.

  4. Select the dustbin icon.

  5. Confirm the removal.

A confirmation message will appear when the payment method has been removed. Select Cancel if you do not want to make any changes.

Payment card details cannot be edited. If a card has expired or been replaced, register the new card and remove the old one.

Can I use someone else’s payment method?

No. You can only use payment methods registered in your own name.

Using someone else’s card, bank account or digital wallet may result in:

  • The transaction being declined

  • The payment method being blocked

  • Restrictions being placed on your AlphiBet account

  • A request for verification documents

If verification is required, our Security Team will contact you using your registered email address.

Why is most of my card number hidden?

AlphiBet hides most of your card number in your transaction history for security reasons. Only the last four digits are displayed so that you can identify the card without exposing its full details.

If the last four digits match your card, the transaction was made using that card.
